Caribbean Premier League is ranked among world’s top franchised based cricket leagues. CPL grabbed the spot by delivering quality cricket to the fans and this year it’s back again to rock. In this article we discuss CPL 2019 teams and their full squad.

CPL 2019 players draft is going to happen on 22nd May, but franchise owners have confirmed their players. There might be a chance of little bit changes in the team on players bid ceremony. The final squad will be updated on 22nd May.

Six teams with the squad of 18 players will participate in CPL 2019 edition. All CPL 2019 teams and their full squads with details are mentioned below :

  • St Kitts & Navis Patriots

Trinbago Knight Riders full Squad: 

Trinbago Knight Riders are the most prominent team of  Caribbean Premier League as it won the trophy in 2015, 2017 and in 2018. Dwyane Bravo will lead the team and Simon Katich is the head coach of Trinbago Knight Riders.

  • Shahrukh Khan(Bollywood renowned actor), Juhi Chawla(Bollywood actress) and Jay Mehta(owner of Mehta Group) owns this incredible team.

St Lucia Stars Squad

St Lucia Stars is struggling to make their place among top teams of CPL. The team showed their best record in 2016 and was rebranded in 2017. Kieron Pollard is the captain for upcoming edition and Brad Hodge is the coach. 

Under the captaincy of  Kieron Pollard and incorporation of incredible players like David Warner, Darren Sammy, and Lendl Simmons, the St Lucia Stars are all set to come back this year with a bang.

  • Jignesh Pandya(CEO of Rohan Groups) is the owner of St Lucia Stars.

Barbados Tridents won the CPL 2014 edition. Robin Singh is the head coach and Jason Holder is captain of the team. Hashim Amla, Martin Guptill, Junaid Khan, and Shakaib-ul-Hasan are the new picks for an upcoming event.

  • Vijay Mallya(Indian businessman ) is the owner of Barbados Tridents.

Jamaica Tallawahs won the CPL 2013 & 2016 event.  Mark O Donell will be the head coach and Andre Russell will lead the team this season. David Miller, Ross Tylor, and Andre Russell are the most important picks of Jamaica Tallawahs.

Guyana Amazon Warriors:

Guyana Amazon Warriors couldn’t manage to win any of the tournament till now. For the upcoming event, Chris Green, Cameron Delport, Sohail Tanveer, and Chadwick Walton as their top players while Chris Green will serve as the team captain. John Botha will be the head coach of the Guyana Amazon Warriors.

St Kitts & Navis Patriots

St Kitts & Navis is the CPL’s first expansion franchise and later on replaced Antigua Hawks-bills due to its poor performance and some other issues. In 2017, the team managed to get into finals but lost the match against Trinbago Knight Riders.

Donovan Miller will be team’s head coach and Chris Gayle will play captains role in the Hero CPL 2019 edition.

Chris Gayle, Evin Lewis, Mahmudullah Riyad, and Tom Cooper are selected as top players.
